NFL All-Pro Linebacker Shawne Merriman speaks at Cayenne Medical booth during AANA

Shawne Merriman, notorious for electrifying hits and relentless sacks on the football field, made time to speak with orthopaedic surgeons in the Cayenne Medical booth at the Arthroscopy Association of North America annual meeting.  Merriman answered questions about his fast recovery after having both his PCL and LCL reconstructed using the AperFix System.

Independent Harvard Study Favors AperFix

A new Harvard clinical study published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM) found that Cayenne’s AperFix System and “Single Tunnel, Double Bundle” ACL reconstruction technique better resembles the natural, intact ACL when compared to the more common, “Single-Bundle” technique.
